Hey everyone, I thought it would be fun to provide a summary
of this season's FeederWatch tallies at our home in Laurel,
PG County. We counted almost every weekend from Nov 8/9 to
Mar 28/29. Here's a species list with notes ("*" indicates
the species was seen on only 1 weekend; "#" indicates the
species was seen *every* weekend; "max" indicates maximum
number of individuals seen, where notable):

39 species. Not seen this season during FeederWatch counts,
but seen here in 2007-2008 or 2006-2007: Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, Chipping Sparrow, Fox Sparrow, and White-crowned
Sparrow. Next year I probably won't be quite so diligent,
so I can go *out* birding more... :)
(still getting PINE SISKINS, with 4 today, and yesterday we
had our first CHIPPING SPARROW of the season; EASTERN PHOEBE
arrived a few weeks ago, and March 22 we added yard bird
#103: MALLARD!)
