Hello All,
David Sperling and I spent about an hour and a half in Columbia looking for
the Harris's Sparrow when it appeared. Also on the feeder were three pine
siskins and a purple finch.
Off to the Susquehanna River to Lapidum Landing to search through the
Bonaparte's Gulls looking for the Little Gull - no luck. The sun was at
our backs in the afternoon so we had great views, but there were more gulls
on the other side. We drove over the bridge, paid our five dollar toll,
to get to Port Deposit. But the sun shadows made all the
Bonaparte's appear like Little Gulls. We decided, before we make ourselves
crazy, to pack it up and call it a day.
