Did some birding this morning in Montgomery County from Violette's Lock
west, along the river. Best bird was a Yellow-throated Warbler heard and
then seen near the Violette's Lock parking lot at dawn. I also had a
White-crowned Sparrow near the Polo grounds, and three Caspian Terns in
a cornfield (!) along River Road just west of Edwards Ferry. The terns
were mixed in with a large flock of Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls.
