Raptor Observations:
A hungry Cooper's Hawk swoops in to take a swipe at a Robin about 10 feet
in front of us.
Non-raptor Observations:
Northern Gannet 4; Bonaparte's Gull 26; 4-5 pairs of Killdeers on eggs in
the Park

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays. |
