Highlights of my lunchtime walk around Schoolhouse Pond included a Caspian Tern which flew repeatedly back and forth over the pond, a Lesser Yellowlegs on the rear mudflats, and a Gray Catbird. Other birds included 4 Double-crested Cormorants, 2 Great Egrets, 2 Green-winged Teal, 2 Blue-winged Teal, and several Wood Ducks. This morning was fairly slow, but I did have a group of 7 flyover Common Loons.
