Hi all --

We've had a pair of Pine Siskins coming regularly to our thistle feeder in
the last couple of weeks, as our overall siskin numbers have dwindled -- now
it's just the two of them.

Today the male (the brighter bird) was feeding the female at the feeder -- I
know that in invasion years, "winter" finches may stay on and breed although
it could just be hormones kicking in before the pair wings their way
northward.

But will keep our eyes open for any further developments...
