Yesterday, a brief visit to Patterson Park yielded the following. Not all common residents are included in the list. the Pine Siskin was flying over.

12 April
Double-crested Cormorant 1
American Wigeon 2
Northern Flicker 2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 1
American Robin 40
Palm Warbler 1
Dark-eyed Junco 2
Common Grackle 3
Red-winged Blackbird 5
Brown-headed Cowbird 3
House Finch 2
Pine Siskin 1

This morning, there were 3 Caspian Terns flying around the pond, and a female Black Duck among the mallards. The American wigeon may have disappeared for the summer.

Good birding
