Today (4/14) from 6 to 6:45PM I saw the following birds at Forebay Pond and Lake Elkhorn in Columbia, Howard County: two Caspian Terns flying over Lake Elkhorn, a Great Egret at Forebay, and four female Hooded Mergansers, six Blue-winged Teal and one female Red-breasted Merganser also at Forebay. There was one yellow Palm Warbler near a small wet area on the south side of Lake Elkhorn (this spot is located just as the path enters the woods after having crossed over the bridge at the top end of the lake).
