I am giddy with excitement as I just looked out my kitchen window and saw a
hummingbird.  I grabbed my camera which sits next to my binoculars on my
kitchen counter and shot about 6 or 7 pictures of a male ruby-throated
hummingbird.  Just as I got the last shot I saw movement near my 220 gallon
pond and what was taking flight but a Great Blue Heron who had ate some of
my goldfish.  What a wonderful couple of minutes with nature.  I have had my
hummer feeder out for weeks and am thrilled I didn't miss him.
