Michel,

The work on the next edition of the Yellow Book has been delayed. There will 
be significant changes to improve it and bring it up to date. Do not expect 
anything before next year.

I was also wondering what the status of the updated Yellow Book is, i.e. the 
best deal in the Birding World.

I think this little book is an excellent example of how to concisely present 
extensive, high quality, detailed information.
