I was not out at "prime time" but did see many Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers, heard a Yellow Warbler, a Parula, and 1 Common Raven. along with the usuals. I imagine I might see about the same things described at the North Branch as where I was today.

Hi Janet,
I put a description of that area with maps etc. on my Western MD
Birding website.

You would have similar stuff at North Branch to what you saw at Town
Creek Aquaduct except that there is also the shorebird tarps. There
were 5 Greater Yellowlegs, some Killdeer and a Spotted Sandpiper there
today along with a number (5+) of White-crowned Sparrows on the Canal
(and a few Swamp, Song, Field Sparrows), and a pair of Blue-winged
Teal (a little further West on the Canal). I had 2 or 3 Rusty
Blackbirds there this morning too and David Yeany told me that he had
a few Wilson's Snipe in the cow pasture and at the Canal before I got
there this morning. He also had a few Ring-billed Gulls at the
shorebird tarps. I see now that he already posted a bunch of that
stuff and more.
There were also Yellow-throated Warblers and Louisiana Waterthrush at
Spring Gap and a flyover Green Heron.
Best,
J.B.
