Dear All

Greg Butcher, Paul Pisano, Rob Hilton and I variously visited Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens yesterday morning, and like Barry and Gail this morning dipped on the little blue heron. However, between us we did see some quite interesting things although, I don't think any one bird was seen by all four of us. We pretty much saw the same as Barry and Gail plus:

American Bittern (GB only, near the fork in the boardwalk )
Sora (GA only, on the reedy edge at the far end of the b'walk, but viewed from KP)
Marsh/Sedge Wren - singing, heard only by GA and PP briefly at the far end of the b'walk
Brown Creeper - 1 KP
Rusty Blackbird - 2 KAG (PP only)
Wilson's Snipe - 10+ KAG at end of boardwalk, obvious so must have moved off today as Barry and Gail didn't see them
Solitary Sand - 1 KAG

Apologies again for the late posting - a 3 month old child being my only excuse....

Gary
