Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that the YCNH pair has decided to nest again in Parkwood, in the same tree as last year.
This morning one heron was on the stick nest about 40' above the street, and the other was perched nearby. In '08 they fledged 5 young.
Let's hope they have success this year. I will occasionally post on their progress.
I birded Rock Creek Park this morning; many Yellow-rumps and RC Kinglets on the move.
Pine Siskins are still hanging around up the street.
