Hello birders,

It was wonderful morning birding in Patapsco Valley State Park, Woodstock
Area, with Tim Houghton, Judy Harding, Jan Wielzynski, Robin Todd, Paul
Koehler and Dixie Mullineaux. We found five species of warblers (Northern
Parula, Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle), Pine Warbler, Palm Warbler (Yellow)
and Louisiana Waterthrush) and six Woodpecker species. Singing Ruby-crowned
Kinglet were all over.

We had great looks at the Northern Parula feeding and singing, a Green Heron
on the river and flock of Cedar Waxwings feeding low in a Red Cedar. We also
saw a Broad-winged Hawk hanging upside down on a branch with another
Broad-winged standing above it on the same branch.
