I had a singing YELLOW-THROATED VIREO off 'Wise Road (b/w Beach Drive and
Oregon Ave.)', a singing LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH near 'Milk House Ford', and a
singing WORM-EATING WARBLER on 'Beach Drive' (approx, a quarter-mile south
of the juction w/ Wise Rd).
'Dumbarton Oaks Park' yielded a singing WHITE-EYED VIREO.
Finally, and the highlight of the day, was spectacular looks at a nesting
pair of Red-shouldered Hawks off the C&O Canal towpath (just south of the
bridge over Canal Rd).
