Karen and Bill Harris and I went birding on and around Johnson's Rd beneath Salisbury on Sunday.? We had a great day despite the hot temperature, including some nice new arrivals such as GRASSHOPPER SPARROW, ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK, YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, ACADIAN FLYCATCHER, EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE, and a late HERMIT THRUSH. Saw and heard all the warblers and vireos listed! Also enjoyed a den full of fox kits tucked a little ways into the woods next to the road. list also included:
