Thirteen people enjoyed the birds and weather at Cylburn this morning for a Chesapeake Audubon Society Walk. We had excellent views of a number of birds including some migrants or returnees.

The BLUE-WINGED warbler was the coolest bird of the day. It was at the edge of the border trail near a flock of yellow rumps. It pays to sort through the birds! Other warblers: many yellow rumps, several Black-and-Whites, and a couple of Yellow-Throated Ws.

One Female Purple Finch. A couple of Catbirds.

And 2 White-Eyed Vireos.

Plenty of the usual: towhee, gnat, rc kings.
