Subject: [MDOSPREY] Jug Bay FOY yard birds

Howdy folks. I am smiling from ear to ear, I imagine most of you are too with all these new arrivals! I've not been birding much the last few weeks due to very long work hours. Yesterday I was not working but we had company all day so I was unable to go elsewhere, and this morning I have obligations to watch the kids, so I've been confined to yard biding. But Wow!! - what a difference in composition from last weekend!

FOYs (yardlist):

Yesterday- Green Heron 1 (flyover), Ruby-throated Hummingbird 4 (first day with feeder up), Hairy Woodpecker 1, House Wren 1, Wood Thrush 1, Blue-headed Vireo 1, Northern Parula 2, Yellow Warbler 1, Louisiana Waterthrush 1, Orchard Oriole 2

This morning (so far)- Yellow-throated Vireo 1, Baltimore Oriole 1

We still have Siskins daily at thistle feeders and I saw Purple Finch at feeder Friday eve and Wednesday.
Wish I was in Somerset hearing click click, click click click, click click, click click click !!! Maybe next year...

Cheers-
