Leakin Park: Baltimore City

April 26: We walked in Leakin Park today from 8:30 - 11:00 from the parking
lot on Windsor Mill Rd. down Wetheredsville Rd., around to Winans Meadows;
up to the Carrie Murray Center then along the wetland trail back to
Wetheredsville.

Last week the woods were thick with Ruby-crowned Kinglets. This week we
heard only one. Strings of Blue-jays flew overhead in loose flocks. We found
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers nestbuilding on Wetheredsville Road. We found no
Indigo Buntings, but had one in our yard yesterday, along with our first
Catbird and first Hummingbird of the year.
