Sorry a little late-- my internet is currently down.
I did some local birding for the first time this month (!) on Saturday by spending a couple of afternoon hours along the trail to Henryton in Patapsco Valley State Park. Overall, a great day, picking up many FOY species, and totaled out with ten warblers-- BLUE-WINGED, NASHVILLE, Palm, Yellow-rumped (Myrtle), Black-and-White, Louisianna Waterthrush, Common Yellowthroat, Ovenbird, American Redstart, Northern Parula. I do not have my complete list on hand, but other highlights included singing BALTIMORE ORIOLE and YELLOW-THROATED VIREOS.
Happy birding!
