This evening I have been watching my yardbirds since coming home from work. A few first of year birds for me at least the first time I am seeing them. I wonder what I am missing while I am at work. Here are some seen since 5pm:

Rose Breasted Grosbeak male and female....FOY
Indigo Bunting maybe first year looking more brown than blue....FOY
American Goldfinches... lots of them
Carolina Wren.. a pretty couple that lives under my deck
Eastern Bluebirds couple that have taken up house in one of my boxes
Eastern Towhee
Pine Siskin
Chipping Sparrows
Carolina Chickadee
Bluejays.. lots of them
Ruby Throated Hummingbird....FOY...YEAH
Pine Warbler.. a few

A lousing picture of the brown-blue Bunting
