This morning at 10:30am I found a Sedge Wren singing by the pond in Patterson Park. It is keeping itself well hidden but I did see it once for a few seconds as it climbed up in the base of a shrub.
The wren is on the grassy embankment at the north west corner of the pond. If you enter the boardwalk on the west side of the pond, walk a few yards and stop under the willow tree that hangs over the boardwalk. The wren is 8-10 yards up the grassy bank, singing occasionally.
Good luck, and don't forget to call in at the audubon office afterwards.
