Hello all.
I took about a 3 mile walk around Magothy Greenway Natural Area today and found a few good warblers. Magothy Greenway is located in Pasadena (AA County) off of Mountain Road and North Shore Road. It is a large, mostly wooded tract with at least 3 bogs at easy walking distance from the roadside. The bogs are worth the trip by themselves. The woods are mostly mixed with a few good sized stands of Virginia Pine and Pitch Pine. It is a fun place.
The Hooded and Kentucky Warblers were found off of Shady Lane and the Worm-eater was found in woods along North Shore Road. The Siskin was with two goldfinches near the bog closest to the North Shore community.
