As my wife and I were about to sit for dinner, I noticed an Indigo Bunting
at the water fountain. We grabbed the camera, sat down to the table, and
waited for an opportunity to take its picture on the bird feeder. Finally it
landed on the feeder, but before we could take the picture, it was scared
off by a larger, black and white bird with a large spot of red. My first
thought was that the rose-breasted grosbeak was back, but no. It was a
gorgeous red-headed woodpecker, not seen in the yard since a flyover in the
late 1980's. And suitable documentary photos were taken!

That makes for a close-out of all seven species of woodpeckers at my
feeders.
