Hi --

Thought the wet weather would be good for finding waterbirds at Kenilworth
Gardens -- well, it was TOO wet when we got there, high tide and high river
flows combined to flood a lot of the paths and all the pools as well as the
river and marsh were overflowing their banks. Still, a very good morning
with a real influx of migrants. We recorded 19 Species of warbler, which is
very good for this lowland site.

Later, we walked the "no mow" area of Kenilworth Park, did not do the area
behind the jersey barrier as some guys were out there with remote-controlled
model cars and making a lot of noise!
