The overcast weather certainly did not dampen avian activity throughout the
Anacostia watershed in DC on May 5. Highlights were a singing PINE WARBLER
at the Barnard Hill Park, singing CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, WORM-EATING
WARBLER, BLUE GROSBEAK, and ORCHARD ORIOLE at the National Arboretum, a
singing FOY BLACKPOLL WARBLER at the Kenilworth Park, and 3 gobbling WILD
TURKEYS within the Bald Eagle Hill Park.
