I just posted two docu photos of the kite on flickr for anyone interested.
Not sure if it still is considered a reviewable species in MD.... Also, I
was called out by my next door neighbor to help remove a "Big" snake on
her deck. It was a 3.5-4' long Black Ratsnake and she almost got a heart
attack watching me casually pick it up and hold it up. She's from New York
City:)

The snake is now safely back in the woods.

WAIT!! I just heard a BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO through the screen door singing
away in the trees behind our house! Wow! Gotta get back out there.
