Hey everyone-

I got out to Patterson Park with my Dad at around 3:25pm. At about 3:45, I got a glimpse of what I was almost positive was the Sedge Wren. It flew a short distance, and I followed it. However, the only bird that emerged from the spot where it had disappeared was a Swamp Sparrow. Beginning to doubt myself, I waited for nearly an hour for the bird to give another sign of its presence, and was just about to give up when, at around 4:35, I heard the Wren singing clearly from the grassy hill next to the boardwalk. I listened happily to it for around a minute, hoping it would show itself again, but unfortunately, it did not. A mini-list from the time spent at the boat lake:

Good luck to whoever goes after this bird! I might go after it again tomorrow (if its not raining) in hopes of getting a photo.
