Jim and Rosa Lubitz and I got excellent views of the Common Moorhen at
Centennial Lake at 2:30-3:00 this afternoon. The bird was foraging along
the edge of the first island east of the rope divider that marks off the
wildlife end. (For those who haven't been to Centennial, the wildlife
end is the west end of the lake, closest to Centennial Lane.)
We did not see the Black-billed Cuckoo because none of us knew about it.
I saw Joe Hanfman's post after I got home from Centennial.
