finally while birding with Jemma and her friend Susan. we spotted both the male and female hooded warbler. my prayer is answered. also at the top of the hill north of the school in the field, there we saw and heard a Chat. coming back about  45 minutes later the male Hooded was still there singing next to the road about half way between the school and the parking lot.  john f stup, damascus
