Second Mississippi Kite of the season, age unknown, 4:15 pm

100 species observed in Weinberg and Fort Smallwood Parks during the May
Count today; from about 6-7:45 pm in advance of the cold front, 86 Common
Nighthawks, 165 Bobolinks, and 530 Cedar Waxwings counted

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
