HI All,
Yesterday (7 May 2009) at lunch I walked along Old Legislative Road,
the highlights being 5 Golden-winged warbler sounding birds, I was
able to get visuals on 4 of them; 3 were phenotypically pure
GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLERS, and one was a BREWSTER'S WARBLER. Two years
ago, I saw a Blue-winged Warbler seemingly on territory, but this is
the first time I have noted a hybrid here. Other birds of interest
were a bunch of INDIGO BUNTINGS (~7) YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, YELLOW
WARBLERS, and GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS.
