I hope I have all the addendums straight, so let me add a little bit more--sorry if I'm repeating! There were 2 Canada Warblers seen near the Vis Center. A good number of us saw the first, and then John and I found a 2nd. I saw a Hooded in the area previously reported--TWO Hooded in all, calling to each other at one point. At one point, a Hooded was using its "afternoon" song (he didn't know it was still morning). A 3rd song in the mix, seeming to converse with the 2 Hooded, belonged to a Redstart. (I ran into Marty and Debbie (hope I remembered their names right) who were tracking the Hoodeds.) After I saw M and D, I bushwacked to see one of the Hooded again and was excited to see a GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH. Perhaps this was the same one someone else, I think, saw. A Yellow W was along the fenceline, but I think it was the same one I saw fly from one of the trees near the ledge area in the Maintenance Yard. Also a Veery, hummer, and Yellow-Throated Vireo along the fenceline. John and I had fantastic views of the Blackpolls (and a Canada) near the Vis Center, by the way. Tim Houghton (Glen Arm)

Add a couple more -- we had a Northern Waterthrush in the woods near the dog
run (along streamlet) and a Louisiana Waterthrush heard from the car as we
drove home, at a small stream crossing Beach Drive near Bingham Drive. Also
I recall David Apgar reported hearing a Worm-eating W. in the woods off the
Equitation Field (a traditional breeding area). Several more Swainson's
Thrushes and a Gray-cheeked Thrush, plus a Yellow-billed Cuckoo heard in
woods behind Nature Ctr. add to the day's excellent tally. The flyover
Red-headed Woodpecker was an adult, very striking!

We estimated well over 30 BBTs heard and seen, and perhaps 100 Red-eyed
Vireos in all locations, and at least 12-15 each of Yellowthroats,
Redstarts, BBG, Parula, Blackpoll and several others. We also saw another
Canada at the Nature Center.
