Location: Frederick County and surrounding areas
Observation date: 5/15 -5/17/09
Notes: The results for the M.O.S. convention in Frederick (May 15-17) were great! With 149 species, including 29 species of warblers, Common Merganser, Common Moorhen, Merlin, and Dickcissel, it was truly an extravaganza of birding.

Thanks to Janet Shields, Bonnie Ott, Chan Robbins, Bob Ringler, Kathy Calvert and to many, many more for such a well run convention and a fantastic time.

        Best Wishes,

                     Taylor McLean
