I met up with Paul O'Brien, Leo Weigant and Pat Schnide about 8 AM this 
morning in the empty lot on Fordham St. Things were on slow side with 
only a few Blackpoll, a Black-throated Green, Magnolia, Am Redstart, and 
N. Parula. Paul and Pat had to leave around 9 AM but Leo and I continued 
on into the woods towards the old beaver pond. At the north end of the 
beaver pond, Leo found a beautiful Red-headed Woodpecker. We had great 
looks both through binos and scope. Also had 3 Gray-cheeked Thrush and 2 
Swainson's plus a couple Veery (heard) and Wood Thrush.
