While out and about in Calvert Co. today, I birded Governor's Bridge Natural
Area, North Beach, King's Landing Park, and Battle Creek Cypress Swamp.
While there were no Olive-sided Flycatchers or Mourning Warblers at Gov.
Bridge, there were 2 singing Prothonotary Warbler, several Blue Grosbeaks,
both orioles, and a couple of Yellow-breasted Chats for birds of note. At
North Beach, there were 4 LEAST TERNS as had been previously reported. Other
birds present there were 2 Snowy Egrets, Least & Semipalmated Sandpiper and
Semipalmated Plover, not to mention nesting Osprey and many Purple Martins.
Battle Creek held singing Prothonotary and Hooded Warblers as well as
Louisiana Waterthrush.

Keep birding,

David
