Kevin,

In regards to the Anhingas, could you provide more details? How high were
the birds when you first observed them? How did they get before you lost
sight of them? What were the viewing conditions like? When did you have to
research if you had 2 birds or one, were they not seen at the same time?
What plumages were these birds in? Were the both the same plumage or
different?

Hi all,

Haven't been on computer much since Friday. John Dennehy & I had a great
day in Harford County on Friday, mainly in Havre De Grace area. Best birds
were 2 ANHINGA, seen in good view soaring, catching on thermal for several
minutes till almost disappear way up and last seen headed N. It was in
Davis Property section of Susquehanna State Park. We were in knee high weedy
field w/ scattered trees (excellent view of sky). This weedy field is an
excellent habitat for chat, blue-winged and prairie warblers.
The quarry is off-limited, I have a relative work there. Only place in
Harford for Bank Swallow colony.
