Hello all,

Stopped by Davidsonville Park yesterday and found things pretty active.? I found a female Hooded Merganser with five little ones in a shallow pond in the NW section of the park.? Does anyone have the latest on nesting Hooded Mergansers in Maryland? ?I noticed in my Breeding atlas that they are rare nesters and I did not see much as far as Anne Arundel County nesting birds.?

Enjoy the nesting season,

Terry
