A beautiful morning at North Tract that included 6 species of warblers. I
found a Kentucky Warbler singing along Whip-poor-will Way about 400 yards
from the intersection with Sweetgum lane. The trail is currently blocked by
a fallen tree at the correct location. The bird was about 60 yards off the
trail and was incredibly skulky; I only got a brief glimpse of him. Other
birds of note included Pine

Warbler (4), Hooded Warbler (6) - they didn't start singing until 10:00 AM,
Ovenbird (8), Parula (4), Black and White (2) and a beautiful male Scarlet
Tanager. Other species included:

Goldfinch

Carolina Wren

Peewee

Acadian Flycatcher

Indigo Bunting

Turkey Vulture

Mourning Dove

Brown-headed Cowbird

Red-bellied Woodpecker

Rufous-sided Towhee
