Hi bird people,

I just subscribed to the Osprey and this is my first post. I travel around the Eastern Shore a lot for my job, and I saw the post a few days ago about the Dickcissel. I had never seen one, so I planned to stop by on my way back to Harford County from work. I made three trips over three days and finally on the third trip I did see the Dickcissel at the intersection of Sandy Bottom and New Cut roads. Actually I saw three. I was snapping a few fly speck shots of two of them on top of the arbor vitae at the corner house when I heard a loud call and turned to see one on the fence right next to my car. This was yesterday (Friday) afternoon at about 2:30PM. If these links work, you're welcome to take a look at this guy. Click on the image to expand it to full size.
