I am seeing lots of wet yardbirds this evening. I am really tired of this rain but the birds do not seem to mind.
This evening I am seeing some very wet Goldfinches, House finches, Chickadees, Bluejays, Cardinals, Starlings, Mourning Doves, Redbellied woodpeckers, Downy woodpeckers, Chipping Sparrows, Titmouse, Brown headed Cowbirds and a Catbird trying to land on my suet feeder. Oh best of all MY family of Eastern Bluebirds, which consists of the Male and female and at least of the juvies. They are a reall treat to see and hear begging for food. One bird that seems to be missing this evening is the crazy eyed and noisy House Wren.
