Hi al Helen did a great job posting about our birding on Saturday . I just have a few comments about it . She gave me a list of Birds she wanted and needed for her Queen Anne's County list . while not seeing or hearing all of them we knocked better than half of them off . The Chuck wills widows Stole the show however this was the my first one to be seen . Indigo Buntings forging in grass near and on the Road near my truck . On Wrights Neck Road near Centreville we heard a bird making an odd call that we could not Id at first . Then we located a fledging not able to fly that turned out to be a Baltimore Oriole and the male flew down to tend to it . Some Birds sang other did not the Yellow Throated Vireo flew in with out a sound gave us good looks then departed . Others did odd things a Common Yellow Throat sang from a powerline . My take was that because of the recent wet weather the birds were very hungry and did not pay us people that much attention and were a little more active longer in the morning then normal. It was a great birding day and we had a blast .
Happy Birding
