The Neotropic Cormorant was in sight about 3-3:30PM, perched on a log close
to the MD shore, just upstream from the Violettes Lock parking lot.

A Kayak class came by and flushed it. It disappeared into the group of
islands with tall trees about 1/3 mile downstream. Typically, there are about
20-30 Double-crests hanging about.
