Hi Everyone,

Mike Burchett is going to post the details, but I figured I'd better get the word out now in case anyone wants to take advantage of this on Thursday.

Cory's Shearwaters, Greater Shearwaters, Wilson's Storm-Petrels, and Northern Gannets were visible from the ORV zone at Assateague Wednesday afternoon (17 June 2009; scope needed for the distant views).  Shearwater numbers were particularly impressive.

East winds are forecast to continue into Thursday, so a seawatch from the OC Inlet or the beaches (ORV or not) of Assateague might be productive.  Please let us know!
