Pine Siskin at feeder

Hi all,
Around noon I was standing outside my shop looking at the thistle feeder,
when I noticed a small darkly streaked bird, acting aggressively towards
the surrounding goldfinches. I watched it for a while with my bins, and was
nearly certain it was a Pine Siskin, albeit a very heavily streaked and dark
individual. I walked home to fetch the camera and all the birds left.
Eventually they (it) returned and I was able to get some (not so good) photos
of it. Later I came in for lunch and set my scope on the feeders and was
able to get some very good digi-scoped images of it. It just left again, but
if anyone would like to see it (for whatever reason), call my cell as I'll
be in the shop again. 301-502-0018

PS, my feeders are also hosting lots of House Finches, juveniles, females
and males, so caution is key. This bird is smaller, with a fine pointed
bill, even smaller billed that the goldfinches, and around the size of the
goldfinches too.

A neat June feeder bird!
