I heard and saw the Paint Branch Willow flycatcher reported by Ryan Farrell, at the spot he mapped, about 9:00 am this morning. It wasn't calling very often and was doing the "zreet" note more than the "fitzbew" at least while I was there. It was working both sides of the trail. (It was about a 30 minute walk south from the parking area near the tennis courts on Cherry Hill Rd.)

Later, at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, I heard and saw another Willow flycatcher from the section of the boardwalk between the two observation platforms and back against the marshline. It was calling pretty often and usually did the "zreet.....fitzbew" routine. The Gardens are starting to look lush and the first lotus are in bloom. Other interesting birds there: yellow-billed cuckoo, green heron, indigo bunting, warbling vireo, kingbird, great crested flycatcher, n. parula, yellow warbler, and common yellowthroats.
