This afternoon on my way back to Cumberland from Charles Co., I tried to
find the Neotropic Cormorant and Violette's Lock. I searched the stretch of
the Potomac River between C&O Canal towpath mile markers 22 and 21 between
1:30PM and 3:00PM. There were about a dozen Double-crested Cormorants but
none that indicated Neotropic. Perhaps others were successful this evening?
I'd be interested to know, just for curiosity's sake.
Keep birding,
David
