On my way to meet my carpool in Friendship this morning, I made a detour to North Beach Marsh. There were a bunch of Snowy Egrets. My initial thought while scanning through them was "please be a Little Egret!". Then I got to work and began reading through Bill Hubick and Matt Hafner's MD's Next 10 and noted that Little Egret was sitting high atop the leader board. Wouldn't that have been prophetic?!
