I hit the Paper Mill Flats from 6-7am today (07/16/09)
Note: The flats are 60% mudflats and 40% water (prime shorebirding condition!)

22 Killdeer
1 Greater Yellowlegs 
2 Solitary Sandpiper
2 Spotted Sandpiper
3 Least Sandpiper

(This contrasts last Sunday, 07/12, when I had 10 Killdeer and I Spotty)

Can't wait to get back this weekend to see the increase in numbers.
