Yesterday(07/25/09) around noon I relocated the Curlew Sandpiper at Taylor's Gut north of Bombay Hook.
Fall plumage adult (no rufous), in with several thousand shorebirds. Was in with some Pectoral's.
Taylor's Gut is on route 9 north of Bombay Hook and (if going north on Route 9) the first (left side) flats north of the junction of Routes 6 and 9.
thanks to Doug Gill and company for spotting this bird on 7/24.
Good Birding!
